At 10am on Saturday morning, after 11 years, the angel on the balcony watching over the corner of Rachel Street East and Laval will be taken down as per the request of The City of Montreal. Did this angel protect this corner of all the potential near accidents??? For sure the tourists and many Montreal residents took pleasure from the angel being there because many have stopped over the years to take pictures.
